Terms and Conditions
1.1 If a student misses or cancels a lesson/class within 48 hours of the scheduled time, regrettably, Singfinity cannot refund or reschedule to a later date.
1.2 If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson/class, students will be provided with a substitute teacher or the lesson/class will be rescheduled to a later date. Singfinity will endeavour to agree the alternative date and time for any missed lesson directly with the student where possible but the decision of the teacher as to when the rescheduled lessons and classes will take place is final.
1.3 If the scheduled location is unavailable for the rescheduled lesson/class following teacher cancellation – an appointment in a different location and/or online will be offered.
1.4 For periods when Singfinity lessons/classes do not take place (company holidays), students memberships/contracts are suspended and continue when lessons/classes resume. Monthly memberships/contracts are based on rolling months, not calendar months. Students can view all future appointments by logging in to the booking system.
1.5 Students are expected to attend classes punctually. Teachers are not obliged to make up time in the event that a student is late for class.
1.6 All packages expire after 30 days. All lessons have to be taken within this time frame.
2.1 Lesson fees paid in advance are always redeemable (before their expiry date) but not refundable or transferable. If a prepaid lesson is cancelled before the 48-hour cancellation deadline, the lesson payment can be applied to a future booking.
3.1 Singfinity reserves the right to alter, cancel or combine classes when necessary and/or to change teacher or class allocations where appropriate.
3.2 Students are required to bring all necessary equipment, instruments and materials necessary for lessons and tuition to class.
4.1 Students and parents/guardians are expected to behave and conduct themselves in an orderly and respectful manner whilst taking Singfinity lessons/classes and to show consideration for staff, students and others. Singfinity reserves the right to refuse to teach any student whose behaviour or the behaviour of parents/guardian causes annoyance, distress or offence to others. Persistent or serious offenders will have their tuition suspended or cancelled.
4.2 Should a student, parent or guardian of the student wish to discuss progress or any other relevant issue with a teacher, this should be done at the commencement of the relevant lesson or class or at a time convenient to the teacher concerned.
4.3 If the student has a contagious illness, students are expected to reschedule the lesson.
5.1 There is no provision for supervision of students either before or after their lesson time. There is a waiting area to facilitate the collection of students. However, this is unsupervised.
5.2 Students under 16 must be escorted to and from Singfinity lessons/classes by a parent or guardian over the age of 16.
5.3 Singfinity, its employees, representatives and agents accept no responsibility for personal injury and/or loss and/or damage to personal property on the premises whether by fire, burglary, theft, evacuation or otherwise.
5.4 Singfinity, its employees, representatives and agents are not liable for damages for cessation of operation and resulting cancellation of tuition and lessons due to earthquake, fire, flood, explosion, terrorist attack, plane crash or any other disaster outside of its control.
6.1 Students must supply Singfinity with their contact number and/or email address and the contact number and e-mail address of a person who may be contacted in the event of an emergency. In the case of students under 18 years of age, a contact number, email and home address of student’s parent/guardian must be provided. Upon payment of the tuition fees, the student agrees to keeping of personal records on the computer system and databases, which will be mindfully maintained by Singfinity.
6.2 Singfinity reserves the right and retains copyright to all appropriate promotional photographs and video which may be taken of students within lessons/classes. No personal details of students will be passed to third parties except the appropriate authorities without prior consent.
